हर द्वार पे दस्तक दे खुशहाली
कुछ यूं हो हर दीवाली

हृदय के प्रथम से अन्तिम छोर तक की
इक इच्छा हैं
मुस्कानें फैलाने की सच्चे मायने में
किसी के जीवन में परिवर्तन लाने की,
फिर उस खुशी को खुद में ही जी लेने की
बिन किसी को बताये, दुनिया से परे
मेरी ख़्वाहिश
शहर में चौतरफा भीड़ नही पसंद
थोड़ी रफ्तार भी कम हो
शहर की
गाड़ियो का हुजूम भी कम
काश सितारोंं सी सजी इमारते साथ में
इक छोटा सा हरा भरा जंगल भी रखती
सड़के थोड़ी कम भीड़ भाड़ सी होती
रंग बिरंगी साईकिलो से सजी होती
हर किसी को जल्दबाज़ी इतनी ना होती जाने की
काश कि थोड़ी साँस लेने की सबको फुर्सत होती
काश ये शहर मेरी ख़्वाहिश सा होता

मैं मुसाफ़िर हूं
मैं मुसाफ़िर हूं, मुझे चलने मैं मज़ा आता हैं
मुकम्मल होना मेरी ख़्वाहिशों में हैं ही नहीं,
मेरा सुकून मेरे सफ़र में हैं, मंज़िल में नहीं
शाम अभी काफ़ी हैं
रातो पे मेरी नींंद उधार अभी काफ़ी हैं
के तेरे शहर में शाम अभी बाकी हैं
गुलाबी सर्दी का गुलाबी एहसास भी आना बाकी हैं
तेरा भरी भीड़ में यूँ अचानक टकरा के मिल जाना भी बाकी हैं
रात की तन्हाई का दस्तूर भी अभी जारी हैं
ज़िन्दगी की पनघट पे जमगट का होना अभी बाकी हैं
शहर की वीरान गलियों का खिलना भी बाकी हैं
रूठे हुए लोगो की नाराज़गी भी अभी काफ़ी हैं
तेरे शहर में चाँद का निकलना अभी बाकी हैं
के यूं मुस्कुरा के मेरा खिल उठना भी अभी बाकी हैंं

कभी किसी पहर मैंं सितारो के बीच चमकती सी दिख जाऊं तो
आश्चर्य न करे,
कई अँधेरी रातों से गुजरा हैं ये सफ़र मेरा
कभी मैं कंचन सी चमक,
महक किसी लता सी पा जाऊं तो
आश्चर्य न करे,
आग की तपन सह के निखारा हैं खुद को
इस रूप में ढाला हैं खुद को
