जीवन एक तन्हा सफर था मैं खुद ही मुसाफिर और हमसफ़र
किस से इल्तिजा करू थोड़ी देर रुक के मेरी दुनिया रोशन करने की
मैं खुद ही रोशनी बना फिर हर तरफ उजाला भी था
थोड़ी सी तोहमत लोग लगाते हैं थोड़ी किस्मत भी
तो कुछ तोहमत भी थी कुछ ख़ुशी और ख़ामोशी का नजराना भी था
अश्क नम भी थे दिल में कुछ गिला भी था
फिर भी एक ख़ामोशी कही दूर तल्क जाती हैं वही खो के मुझ में ही बस जाती हैं
जाती ही नहीं जहन से के थोड़ा सा शोर भी आये
ज़िन्दगी में
मंज़र भी कुछ गुलज़ार हो के और बहार हो
के हम भी बेमिसाल हो
कुछ मन को ख़ुशी की सिहरन सी दे जाने वाली यादो में शुमार हो
